Terms of use - Glance

These terms are an agreement between you and Success Solutions Ltd ("we", "us") for using the Glance app. By using Glance you agree to them. Please also read our privacy notice.

1. Using Glance

Glance is a teleprompter for Mac. You may use it on any Mac signed in with the Apple Account you used to get it, as permitted by the App Store rules. Don't copy, reverse-engineer or resell the app.

2. Free trial, subscriptions and lifetime purchase

• Glance is free to download. Every Apple Account gets a free 15-day trial with full access. No card is needed and nothing renews automatically.
• When the trial ends, the prompter stops working until you choose a plan in the app: a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you pay.
• Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is taken from your Apple Account. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
• Lifetime is a single payment for access to Glance for as long as we offer it on the App Store.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
• You can restore previous purchases in the app.
• Purchases through the App Store are also covered by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If it and these terms differ on how the app is licensed to you, Apple's agreement applies.

3. Your scripts

Your scripts belong to you and stay on your Mac, including the earlier versions Glance keeps for you. We do not see or store them.

4. Responsible use

Glance can hide its window from screen sharing. Please use that to keep your own notes private for presentations and calls. Be honest where the rules of your workplace, school, exam or interview ask you to disclose the use of notes or aids. You are responsible for following those rules.

5. Changes and availability

We keep improving Glance, so features may change. We try to keep it running smoothly but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Voice following depends on your microphone, environment and language, so it may not follow perfectly in every situation.

6. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your rights as a consumer under UK law are not affected.

7. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
